When Food Delivery Fails On Holidays

Last Christmas Season, we broke our tradition of cooking our own food. My family decided that we order online. I understand that it was the holidays so it was expected that there would be delays. I just didn't realize that two restaurants would cause us a lot of trouble and disappointments. 

For me, these restaurants really have good food but once in a while bad customer service can ruin them. Issues can be prevented if they really have a plan on how they should handle the holiday season.

The Greeting Card Shop

It was last June when I first used the greeting card service of The Greeting Card Shop. I was looking for a way to send a tangible card to my aunt who lives overseas; a greeting card sold at an affordable price and can be received less than a week. I know I could have opted for online cards or e-cards but I wanted the greeting card on paper. So when I ordered the card last June 10, and my aunt got it after 3 days.

Jin's Kimbab At Metro Alabang Town Center

I was out the other day with my mom and brother when we saw a newly opened food shop at the food court of Metro Supermarket. It was Jin's Kimbab that sold some Korean food at affordable prices.

Since we have not ate our breakfast and lunch, we decided to eat there. They don't have beverages yet so you can just buy some at the other food shops.

Singapore Series | A Yummy Food Trip

Aside from walking a lot, one of the things I did while in Singapore was to eat food which were recommended by my friend and her family. I am not a picky eater so I really enjoyed eating all of these while at Singapore.

Singapore Series | 2nd Day Going To Malaysia (Legoland and Hello Kitty Town)

On my 2nd day in Singapore, it was not a day to go around the place because it was dedicated to visit Malaysia to see Legoland and Hello Kitty Town.

Together with my friend and her family, we took a cab and went to WTS Travel (Singapore Flyer Branch) to get our tickets. From there we rode the bus that will bring us to our destination.

Singapore Series | 1st Day At Changi-Bedok-Tampines-Lavender-Bugis

In a few hours, I will be flying to Singapore. It will be my first time to travel to this country (my 2nd time to travel overseas after 9 years) but I was not scared since I will be accompanied by a dear friend who frequents Singapore since she has family who lives there. She told me that she will be my tour guide and I could stay with her at her sister's and brother-in-law's place.

It was January 31, the day of the Chinese New Year when my family and I travelled to Baguio City for 3D2N short vacation. Due to the holiday, we were not able to book our reservations to our first choice of hotel. It was a good thing that Hotel Supreme Convention Plaza was still available to accept reservations on our preferred dates. The Hotel Supreme website does not have an online reservation so you may need to call them.
