Last week, I got an email from TapBlogs.co to try a service from GoRated.PH. The service is a widget which you can just install on your website as easy as 1, 2, 3. It will help you and your website build your online credibility. You don't have to post anymore the testimonials of your clients on your blog/website because with this widget, you will immediately get to see the ratings and comments of your visitors.
For those with e-commerce sites, things to like about GoRated.PH widget:
+ Easy to install.
You will just need to copy and paste the codes in your website/blog pages to install the rating widget.
+ Logging-in using Facebook.
Visitors will know that whatever the ratings and comments that will posted on the site are from real people and not were just made-up. Nowadays, it is just hard to know if a testimonial is from a real consumer or just a marketing strategy.
+ Promotes websites/blogs that sell products or offer services.
It will increase the exposure of a product or service with the help of the customers' testimonials.
+ Decent and meaningful feedback.
By using Facebook to give a rating and comment, it can encourage a visitor/customer to leave decent and meaningful feedback about the product/service as well as their experience in using it. They can leave messages that can help improve the product/service.
As for websites/blogs that do not offer any product/services, they can still use the rating widget to get feedback from their visitors. It will depend though on how many visitors visit the site and if they can spare some time to leave a testimonial for the site owner to see.
It will really be nice to add it to your site but I think the service would benefit more those with e-commerce sites compared to those with personal sites especially that the goal of the service is to "put online trust" so that "customers may share their testimonials." It might probably take time for personal sites to get some feedback.
I have tried the rating widget but because mine was a travel blog, I have not yet received any feedback from my visitors. I can still give it a 4 out of 5 stars because it is user-friendly and very useful for sites to build their online credibility. So try it out! : )
